Tasting Comment
The aromas rising from the glass are bright and expressive, bursting with juicy fruit such as muscat, orange, white peach, and mango.
Subtle hints of honey and baked pastries add a sweet nuance, bringing layers of complexity.
On the palate, the fruity flavors unfold with a rounded, smooth texture that leaves a pleasant impression.
A gentle, lingering bitterness in the finish provides balance and enhances its harmony with food.

Filia Gi Estate
Located in central Greece, Thessaly is home to the country’s largest plain, where grain and cotton cultivation is widely
practiced. In the heart of Thessaly lies Karditsa prefecture, and just south of the city of Karditsa is Filia Gi Winery. “Filia” is the name of the village, while “Gi” means “land,” so the winery’s name translates as “the land of Filia.”
Although viticulture has been practiced in this area since antiquity, much of the plain has been given over to annual
crops, and vineyard plantings gradually declined. As a result, the indigenous variety Limniona was pushed to the brink of
extinction.
With the recent remarkable growth of the Greek wine industry, a new generation of winemakers has emerged,
emphasizing the importance of native grapes from their birthplace. Among them is Andreas, founder of Filia Gi Winery,
who seeks to unlock the full potential of Limniona. By consulting trusted experts to complement his own skills, he
produces wines of consistently high quality.
