Tasting Comment
Fresh notes of cherry, plum, and blueberry lead the way, accompanied by gentle layers of coffee, cacao, clove, and white
pepper spice that gradually unfold on the nose.
On the palate, ripe, smooth tannins and a firm body are beautifully balanced by moderate acidity.
The sweetness of the fruit and the depth of spice harmonize seamlessly, offering a satisfying richness without being
overpowering.
The finish is long and toasty, with elegant oak lingering on the tongue.
A wine with remarkable depth of aroma and flavor—perfect for slow, thoughtful enjoyment.

Avantis Estate
Located in the main town of Chalkida on Greece’s second-largest island, Evia, Avantis Estate carries a family legacy of
three generations of viticulture. In 1994, the third generation, Apostolos Moundourihas, began producing wine.
The estate cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards situated between 250 and 500 meters, ranging from gentle to steep slopes.
Thanks to the Mediterranean climate, the grapes benefit from a long ripening period.
Apostolos is also renowned as a Syrah expert: his Syrah has been ranked among the world’s top 10, and he continues to
receive numerous awards every year. Moreover, he played a pivotal role in reviving the nearly extinct Mavrokoundoura
variety of Kymi in Evia, helping to establish the island as one of Greece’s notable wine regions.
