Tasting Comment
Pale ruby in color.
Aromas of dried figs, raisins, strawberry jam, and sweet spices such as clove unfold gently.
The palate is smooth and elegant, with soft acidity and fine-grained tannins.
Subtle umami notes reminiscent of mushrooms add depth over time.
Balanced and refined, it’s an approachable red wine that even those who usually avoid reds will enjoy.

Lyrarakis Wines
Lyrarakis Wines was founded in 1966 in the village of Alagni, located in the Heraklion region of Crete.
Now run by the second generation, their vineyards are situated in the central part of the island and in Sitia, to the east.
Over the past fifty years, Lyrarakis has revived two native Cretan grape varieties — Dafni and Plyto — bringing renewed attention to their unique character and value. The estate is truly a pioneer in this regard.
Born and raised on the fertile island of Crete, the Lyrarakis brothers have deep respect for nature and are constantly
exploring and practicing cultivation methods that work in harmony with it. Their philosophy is simple: to produce
exceptional grapes year after year, one must first cherish the land.
Each of their single-vineyard wines features a label depicting a map of the vineyard, with the specific parcel where the
grape is grown highlighted in color.
